ELTON BAROWS (JPN)

Chairman’s Sprint Prize

MAD COOL (JPN)

Hacked around a lap on the all weather track under the work rider of Northern Farm, Kimiyuki Shibata.   Shibata said: “He moved nicely today and I am very pleased with his condition physically and mentally. He is a type of horse who can adjust himself mentally when he works and when he spends his time off at the barn. Tomorrow he will have a fast piece of work over the turf with jockey Atsuya Nishimura on board.”

SUNRISE RONALDO (JPN)

Cantered easily for one lap on the all weather track.   “He’s getting familiar with the new environment and I am happy how he has settled in because he can become tense before the races, so we will work steadily tomorrow morning,” the assistant trainer Keiichiro Yasuda said.
